Hyperloop One previously known as Hyperloop Technologies is a company based in Los Angeles but is looking to revolutionise transport around the world.
The Hyperloop One high-speed rail system is aiming to transport both passengers and cargo at speeds over up to 670 mph or 1080km/h at the faction of the cost of airlines and with zero turbulence. Watch the video below to learn more about the vision and the Hyperloop One transport system.
The Hyperloop uses a linear electric motor to accelerate and decelerate an electromagnetically levitated pod through a low-pressure tube. The vehicle will glide silently for miles at speeds up to 670 mph (1080km/h) with no turbulence. The system is designed to be entirely autonomous, quiet, direct-to-destination, and on-demand. Additionally, as Hyperloop is built on columns or tunneled underground, it eliminates the dangers of at-grade crossings and requires much smaller rights of way than high-speed rail or a highway
In this video we reveal our vision for the future of mobility, how we connect people to the autonomous space and get people door-to-door, faster than ever before. We also show off a lot of the work the architectural firm, BIG, headed by Bjarke Ingels, has done on portal design in the UAE region with and for us.
