Steve Jobs and Apple haven’t hid any feeling s when it comes to porn apps being on the App Store. Apparently, as it stands now apps of an adult nature like the official Playboy app can’t show full frontal nudity.
The Hef has Tweeted that in March the entire Playboy archives from the first issue to the latest on newsstands will be coming to the iPad in March and all of the photos will be uncensored. Playboy has been around for decades now so that is a lot of full frontal nudity that Hef is sending to the iPad.
I wonder how this got by Apple and if it signals a more open approach to adult apps by Apple. I can also see uncensored photos meaning only with no full frontal nudity images, but the ones shown aren’t censored. As long as the app brings the articles with it, we can still claim to only read it for the articles.
