Earlier this month, a new report mentioned that the Huawei Honor 6X is expected to get the new Android 7.0 Nougat update in March.
Now, it seems that’s not the case as the Android 7.0 Nougat update for the handset is only for the review unit, not the unlocked one.
The company insists that the handset will get the update in the first half of 2017 — there’s no specific month when Honor 6X users can expect to get the update.
The handset comes with a 5.5-inch display sporting a resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels, Kirin 655 processor, 4GB of RAM, 12 MP camera for photos and videos, a 3,340 mAh battery and ships with Android 6.0 Marshmallow as its operating system.
We’ll update you as soon as the update is rolling out for the Huawei Honor 6X.
