During the press conference yesterday, HTC didn’t only announce the new HTC One M8, they also mentioned about the Sense 6.0 update for its existing smartphones.
For those of you rocking the older HTC One, One Mini or the One Max would be glad to find out that they will receive the Sense 6.0 update later this year.
Although the company didn’t give out an exact availability dates, but it shouldn’t take a lot of time considering that the Taiwanese OEM was pretty quick in terms of Android 4.4 KitKat update for the HTC One.
Despite this, it will come as a positive news for users rocking the older models, with no wish whatsoever about updating to the latest HTC One M8. They will soon be able to enjoy all the new software features such as improvements to Zoe, motion launch, extreme battery saving mode, Blinkfeed improvements and much more later this year on their old hardware.
That’s all we know at the moment, but we’re hoping HTC will shed some more light on the availability of the update in the coming days. We’ll update you as soon as we hear something. Until then, share with us your views about the Sense 6.0.
