HTC introduced its all-new Eye Experience a few weeks back with the HTC Desire Eye, with a promise that it will roll out for existing handsets.
Recently, HTC confirmed the Eye Experience will roll out for the HTC One M8 in Canada starting at 9 am PST tomorrow on Rogers, Telus and Bell over-the-air (OTA).
The news was confirmed by HTC’s Mo Versi on Twitter and said, “HTC One (M8) Canada – Rogers, TELUS, and Bell will receive the OTA updates starting at 9 am PST tomorrow with Eye SW!”
The new Eye Experience has rolled out for some carriers in the US as well, and it’s not just the HTC One M8, the Taiwanese company confirmed it will make its way to several devices in the coming months, but didn’t give out an exact time frame.
The new Eye experience comes with several enticing features on board such as improved face tracking, split Capture which combines simultaneous photos and videos taken from the front and back camera into one, Voice Selfie, and a bunch of other exciting ones.
We’ll update you as soon as the new update is rolling out for other HTC handsets. Stay tuned.
