We heard a while back that the Android 5.1 update would be headed to the HTC One M7 Google Play Edition smartphone.
The update has now been released as an over the air update for the Google Play Edition of the HTC One M7.
The Android 5.1 update for the HTC One M78 Google Play Edition comes with the build number LMy470 and the update is around 280MB in size. You can find a download link for the update over at Android Police at the link below.
Yesterday the dual SIM version of the HTC One M7 got the Android 5.0 Lollipop update and the single SIM version of the device got the update a few weeks ago, as yet there are no details on when these versions of the handset will get the new Android 5.1 update.
