Yesterday, we heard a rumor that HTC is not going to take the stage at the Mobile World Congress 2016 in Barcelona to launch the new HTC One M10.
Now, another rumor mentions that the HTC One M10 will launch in two versions: one of them will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor while the other variant will come with MediaTek processor.
The Snapdragon 820 powered handset will be for the US and European markets, while the MediaTek variant will launch in Asia and China. This is not new, Samsung has followed this strategy for its flagship devices in the past where they’ve launched multiple versions of their devices catering different markets. The rumor came from the popular HTC developer LlabTooFer, who has been quite accurate in the past.
The complete details about the specifications aren’t available at the moment, but rumors suggest it will come with Android 6.0 Marshmallow as well as the Sense 8 UI on top of it.
We’ll update you as soon as we get to hear anything more about the alleged flagship from the Taiwanese company.
