We’ve seen a number of leaks related to the selfie-focused HTC Desire Eye handset. Yesterday, some images of the alleged device were posted on Twitter.
Recently, the same source has posted yet another press render of the alleged HTC Desire Eye in red color. It seems the device will be white with a red frame, something similar to the Desire 820 unveiled last month.
Rumors suggest that HTC Desire Eye will come with a very decent set of specifications. It’s expected to come with a 5.2-inch display sporting a resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels, a quad-core Snapdragon 801 SoC, and 2GB of RAM on board.
The handset is also expected to feature 32GB of internal storage, a 2,400 mAh battery to make sure there’s enough juice for the handset, and IPX7 certification making it water-resistant. On the software side, we may get to see Android 4.4.4 KitKat with Sense 6 UI on top of it.
There’s no official confirmation about the device so a grain of salt is recommended. HTC has scheduled an event on October 8th where the Taiwanese OEM is expected to launch a new camera. There’s a chance we may get to see the HTC Desire Eye handset at the event as well. We’ll update you as soon as we get more information.
