Not too long ago, we heard a rumor that HTC is working on a new selfie-focused smartphone dubbed as the HTC Desire Eye, which will sport a 13MP front-facing camera for impressive captures.
Recently, some press enders of the alleged HTC Desire Eye made their way on to the internet, showing how the device may look like, thanks to HTCFamily.ru.
The handset appears to carry the design touches of the Desire 820, and features Android 4.4.4 KitKat with Sense 6 UI out of the box. Based on previous rumors, the purported HTC Desire Eye will come with a 5.2-inch display boasting a resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels, with a quad-core Snapdragon 801 SoC clocked at 2.3GHz.
HTC Desire Eye is also expected to feature 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, a 2,400 mAh battery to make sure there’s enough juice for the handset, and IPX7 certification making it water-resistant.
There’s no word about the launch or availability of the device, but HTC has scheduled an event on October 8th. There’s a possibility we may get to see the selfie-focused handset at the event next week. We’ll update you as soon as we get any information about the alleged HTC Desire Eye.
