Earlier this year, HTC unveiled the Desire 826 handset carrying a very decent set of specifications on board. The handset is already available in China, but it seems the company will soon launch it in India as well.
According to a Mumbai-based retailer, the HTC Desire 826 is expected to launch in India in the next few days carrying a price tag of Rs. 26,200 ($421).
The handset boasts a 5.5-inch display sporting a resolution of 1,920 by 1,080 pixels, and is powered by a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor with Adreno 405 GPU and 2GB of RAM. As far as the storage is concerned, the handset boasts 16GB of internal storage coupled with a microSD card slot should you ever require more storage on your device.
The Desire 826 also features a 13MP rear camera for photos and videos, a 4MP UltraPixel front-facing camera, 2,600 mAh battery, 4G LTE connectivity, dual-SIM support and ships with Android 5.0 Lollipop as its operating system out of the box.
The handset comes in three color options: White Birch, Blue Lagoon and Purple Fire. If the retailer is correct, we should see the handset hit retail sometime next week. We’ll update you as soon as the handset is available for sale in the region.
