Last month, HTC unveiled a number of new handsets, including the Desire 520, the Desire 526, Desire 626 and Desire 626s.
Verizon has announced that it will carry the HTC Desire 526 and Desire 626 in the United States, and detailed plans of its availability and pricing.
The Desire 526 is exclusive to Verizon in the US and will be available starting today, carrying a price tag of $120 or $5 a month for 24 months on installements. The Big Red didn’t reveal the exact availability date for the Desire 626 and said it will be available in the coming weeks. No details about the pricing are available at the moment for the Desire 626.
As far as the specifications are concerned, the Desire 526 boasts a 4.7-inch display sporting a resolution of 540 by 960 pixels, a Snapdragon 210 processor, 1.5GB of RAM, 8GB of expandable storage, 8MP camera for photos and videos, 2MP front-facing camera and ships with Android 5.1 Lollipop as its operating system.
The Desire 626 on the other hand is more of a mid-range offering by the Taiwanese company, offering a 5-inch display with a 720p resolution, Snapdragon 210 processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, 8MP main camera, 5MP front-facing camera, a 2,000 mAh battery and it also ships with Android 5.1 Lollipop as its operating system with Sense 7 UI on top of it.
