HTC has announced on Facebook that they will be releasing the new Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for certain HTC devices and that the updates will start rolling out to selected handsets at the start of 2012.
The devices that will be getting the Android Ice Cream Sandwich update include the new HTC Vivid, the HTC Sensation, the HTC Sensation XL, the HTC Sensation XE, the new HTC Rezound, the HTC EVO 3D, HTC EVO Design 4G and the HTC Amaze 4G.
HTC has also said that it will be working closely with its carrier partners on the Android Ice Cream Sandwich update, and it is also looking into other HTC devices that it may bring the update to in the future.
