HP has added four new all-in-one desktop PCs to its range of systems this week in the form of the HP Envy 23 and HP Pavilion 23, which have been created specifically for consumers.
The new HP Compaq Elite 8300 and HP Compaq Pro 6300, on the other hand, have been created with business users in mind and come with optional 2-finger multi-touch features.
HP Envy 23: The Consumer Flagship
The flagship of the four systems is the HP Envy 23, which is powered by Intel Ivy Bridge processors and sports a 23-inch screen with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080. This model also includes a Blu-ray drive, a TV tuner, and an HDMI input, making it a versatile choice for both work and entertainment. Emilio Ghilardi, vice president of HP America’s PC division, explains:
“Customers have been asking for all-in-one PC designs that don’t compromise on performance, reliability, or security. With these sleek, elegant designs and powerful options, HP continues to innovate to meet the needs of a growing marketplace.”
The HP Envy 23 is designed to be a high-performance machine that caters to a wide range of consumer needs. Whether you’re a gamer, a multimedia enthusiast, or someone who needs a reliable machine for everyday tasks, the Envy 23 aims to deliver. The inclusion of a Blu-ray drive and TV tuner makes it an excellent choice for those who want a multi-functional device that can serve as both a computer and an entertainment hub.
HP Pavilion 23: Affordable and Efficient
The HP Pavilion 23 is another consumer-focused model that offers a more budget-friendly option without sacrificing too much in terms of performance. Priced starting at $650, the Pavilion 23 provides a 23-inch screen and is designed to meet the needs of everyday users. It may not have all the high-end features of the Envy 23, but it still offers a solid performance for tasks like web browsing, document editing, and media consumption.
Both the HP Envy 23 and HP Pavilion 23 will be going on sale on August 2nd, 2012. The Envy 23 will be priced at $950, making it a premium option for those who want the best features and performance.
