As well as announcing their new webOS based tablet, the HP TouchPad, HP also launched two new webOS smartphones, the first of those is the new HP Pre3, the third generation in the Pre range.
The HP Pre3 features a 3.58 inch multitouch display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels, there is a slide out QWERTY keyboard, and processing is provided by a 1.4GHz Qualcomm MSM8x55 processor.
The HP Pre3 feature two camera, with a five megapixel camera on the back that is capable of recording High Definition video in 720p, there is also a VGA camera on the front for video chat.
Other specifications on the HP Pre3 include 802.11 b/g/n Wifi, 512MB of RAM and a choice of either 16GB or 32GB of storage, plus Bluetooth 2.1 _EDR and a 1230 mAh battery.
The HP Pre 3 also offers support for Microsoft Exchange, plus POP3 and IMAP, there is also built in GPS and it comes with HP’s new Touchstone technology which lets you easily transfer information between webOS devices by touching them together.
