Hewlett-Packard has this week announced the imminent availability of its new Chromebox Enterprise G2 mini PC offering a Chrome operating system desktop computer for business users. The new mini PC is one of the first Chromebox systems specifically designed for enterprise applications such as call centers, shared spaces, kiosks, or digital signage applications.
The HP Chromebox Enterprise G2 offers a small form factor measuring just 14.93 × 14.93 × 4 cm in size and is powered by an Intel 7th Generation dual-core Core i3-7130U supported by UHD 620 graphics CPU or Celeron 3867U with UHD 610 graphics CPU that is paired with 16 GB DDR4-2400 DRAM together with a M.2 SSD for storage.
Features and connectivity of the small Chromebox Enterprise G2 include 3 xUSB 3.0 Type-A ports, 2 x USB 2.0 Type-A ports, 1 x USB Type-C connector, 1 x HDMI display output, 1 x 3-in-1 SD card reader, 3.5-mm headphone jack together with connectivity via both wireless and Bluetooth 4.2 or wired Gigabit Ethernet.
