The Google Project Ara smartphone is due to launch early next year, this modular device has now appeared in a new video from Phonebloks.
In the video below we get to have a look at the latest Project Ara prototype, and some of its modules, which include the LED display, battery, the CPU and more.
Google are expected to launch the Project Ara smartphone in January of 2015, and the company is also said to be launching a new hardware store which will be similar to Google Play, where you will be able to purchase modules for the device.
This will allow third part hardware makers to produce modules for the Ara Phone and then sell them in this new Project Ara store, which could end up making the device popular.
For example if Qualcomm decided to produce processors for the device, then you would be able to choose a range of different processors depending on how much power you want.
It certainly looks very interesting from what we have seen so far, and we are looking forward to seeing the first Ara Phone when it launches in early 2015.
