Yesterday it was reported that Google was investigating the Google Play Store app issue that created an error that displayed a “Package is invalid” message when trying to update or install Android apps.
Since users started reporting the issue Google has ben busy trying to rectify the issue and has now updated the stays page created for the error as “resolved”.
It has been a week since reports of the error message started appearing on forums and websites, and its great that Google has quickly corrected the issues effecting so many users while trying to updating applications.
Unfortunately no information has been provided by Google on why the issue appeared and what was do to correct it but as long it all now well that enough I suppose.
