If you have been wondering whether the new Google Nexus 5 will be available with Verizon Wireless, unfortunately the handset will not be headed to the carrier.
The Verge spoke to Google’s senior VP of Android, Sundar Pichai, and were told that the Nexus 5 will not be available on Verizon Wireless.
It looks like there may be some good news next year for Google devices on Verizon, as Google is apparently working on a number of projects with Verizon for 2014.
It is not clear as yet on exactly what Verizon and Google are working on, maybe it is a modified version of the Nexus 5 for Verizon, or it could possibly be a new tablet.
The Nexus 5 will work with the rest of the major US carriers, including Sprint, so it looks like Verizon, which is one of the largest mobile carriers in the US will be the only one who will not support the Nexus 5.
The Nexus 5 comes with Android 4.4 Kit Kat and has a range of impressive specifications, you can see the full specifications here, the handset is available in the US with prices starting at $349.
