Google has today announced the opening of a new Google Glass Basecamp in London allowing visitors to be able to try and buy their Google Glass eyewear.
Located at 10 Stable Street, London N1C 4AB the new Google Glass Basecamp store allows you to schedule an appointment to purchase and be fitted with the revolutionary new wearable device.
To re-cap the Google Glass eyewear is fitted with a high resolution display which gives you the equivalent display of a 25 inch HD display from eight feet away and is positioned just in front of your right eye.
Google Glass is also equipped with a camera that can record HD video and is fitted with 12GB of internal storage for apps, files and media that is synced with Google’s Cloud Storage, as well as connectivity provided by with Bluetooth and WiFi.
Google has also setup Google Guides in store to help with the process of learning to use Google Glass eyewear even easier, Google explains :
“Guides are the first people you meet when you get Glass, and they know just about everything there is to know about it. They help set you up and make sure you’re fitted properly. If you have any questions, issues, or just want to chat, they’re always there for you: on email, on the phone, #andonheretoo . You can also visit the Guides IRL at one of our pick-up locations in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco or London. “
