Following on from the rollout of a new update for its Chrome browser, Google has also announced today that they have created and released a new native spreadsheet editor for their Google Drive service.
The new spreadsheet editor which has today been added to Google Drive for iPhone, iPad or Android devices. Now allows users to edit and create spreadsheets from their mobile devices directly within Google Drive.
Google explains: “Beyond spreadsheets, you may notice a few other tweaks to the Drive app, including better text formatting when you copy and paste in a Google document. And if you’re using an Android device, you can now edit text within tables in documents and add a shortcut on the homescreen of your device to any specific file in Drive.”
The latest Google Drive application is now available to download for free from Google Play and the Apple iTunes App Store. Enjoy!
