Google has updated the beta version of Chrome to Chrome Beta 11.0696.16, and this latest version comes with two new updates to Chrome which include a HTML5 speech input API and GPU accelerated 3D CSS.
The new HTML5 speech input lets developers add the ability to transcribe voice to text in web apps, and it works by recording audio through your computers microphone, the audio is then sent to speech servers which transcript the audio into text.
The new beta Release of Chrome also give a sneak peak of GPU accelerated 3D CSS, this will allow developers to add 3D effects to web pages using CSS.
