Gigabyte has launches a new video card today that uses the NVIDIA GT 440 GPU. The new card is part number GV-N440TC-1GI and it is aimed at the lower-end of the gaming and computing spectrum. The card has some nice features and requires at least a 400W PSU.
Features of the card include 512MB of GDDR5 onboard with 1GB of TurboCache memory total. The core clock of the video card is 830MHz, the shader clock is 1660MHz, and the memory clock is 3200MHz. The card supports DirectX 11 and has several connectivity options.
Connectivity includes D-Sub, DVI, and HDMI outputs. The card fits into a PCI-E 2.0 slot and has a 128-bit memory interface. TurboCache RAM uses some of the computers system memory to add more RAM for video use. The GPU uses 40nm technology and supports PhysX, CUDA and more.
