Gateway has added a new notebook to its range with the launch of the NV59C66u W-Max notebook. The Gateway NV59C66u features a built in Intel 6250 Wi-Fi and WiMax card which allows you to connect to the Internet across the majority of US cities.
Processing comes in the form of a choice of different CPUs, from an Intel Core i3 or Core i5 to an AMD Althlon or Turion processors, and it features up to 4GB of DDR3 RAM as standard with the option to upgrade to 8GB.
Othe features on the Gateway NV59C66u WiMax notebook include a choice of either a 320GB or 500GB hard drive, and you can choose from two different screen sizes, a 15.6 inch display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 or a 17.1 inch display with a resolution of 1600 x 900 pixels.
There is also a HDMI port, a DVD drive as standard with the option to upgrade to a Blu-ray drive, there are no details on release dates as yet.
The 15.6 inch model will retail for $479.99 whilst the 17.1 inch model will retail for $699.99.
