Gamers hoping to play the new Far Cry 3 game in September might be a little disappointed to learn that the games launch date has now been pushed back. Far Cry 3 was expected to arrive on September 7th 2012 but is now pencilled in for release on November 29th 2012 instead.
The three month delay is sure to be a disappoint meant to some, and Ubisoft producer Dan Hay explained in the press release, the reason for the delay.
“We’re taking more time to create the best possible gameplay experience,”-“Far Cry 3 is a huge offering and we want every element of this insane, action-packed adventure to be of the highest possible quality for the players.”
The delay now puts Far Cry 3 within the holiday season and up against other big name first person shooters. Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 and Halo 4 which are also launching during November, with Medal of Honor: Warfighter, launching a month earlier on October 30th.
