Facebook has been in the news a lot recently over its data crisis and now it looks like the company is delaying the Facebook Smart Speakers.
According to a recent report the company has decided to put them on hold for the moment until things calm down a bit. The company is apparently still planning to launch their devices before the end of the year.
The news comes in a report from Bloomberg who have revealed that Facebook has decided to delay the launch of its smart speakers after the companies recent data issues. This would be the wrong time for Facebook to launch devices in peoples homes as nobody would trust these devices at the moment.
The company is apparently reviewing its devices for data privacy, the company is said to be working on two different devices, each one is said to come with a touchscreen display. Whether people will end up trusting Facebook again enough to allow their devices in their homes remains to be seen.
