After designing iPhone cases and eyewear, sculptor Jonathan Schipper has now applied his trade to the humble PC mouse and created a very unique design in the form of the EXOvault Mouse. We have made a sculpture you can hold and use everyday.”
The EXOvault Mouse has been designed to provide users with a high-performance, wireless Bluetooth computer mouse precision machined from aerospace grade 6061 aluminium and premium hardwood to provide a more tactile and “beautiful” experience.
“The functionality of the EXOvault mouse will be state of the art. We will use Omron switches for the buttons and PixArt sensors for both the scroll wheel and main movement tracking. We will have three channels of communication with 2.4g and Bluetooth. The PixArt sensor will track on almost any surface, including glass. It will track up 40 inches per second, 10g of acceleration and up to 3000cpi resolution. Your EXOvault mouse will have brains equal to its beauty. Our scroll wheel will be optically tracked you will experience no jumping while scrolling. Your scrolling has never be so smooth. This mouse will contain a rechargeable lithium ion battery that can charge via USB. “
The unique PC mouse is available to back from $60 or £47 and is expected to start shipping during December 2018.
