Evernote has today announced that they have rolled out two new significant enhancements to their Windows version of their notetaking application.
Adding the ability for Windows desktop users to now annotate images inside of their notes as well as providing faster synchronisation throughout the application and service.
The latest Windows desktop Evernote application is now available to download and Evernote explains a little more about their new features:
“If you’re like many Evernote users, then you have lots of images in your account including web pages you clipped and photos snapped using Evernote on your phone. Now, you can make these images more useful.
Mouse over an image, and you’ll see an Annotation button appear in the top right corner. Click it to open the Annotation Tool. From there, point something out using arrows and stamps, add text and shapes, or crop and resize. Close the window and your note updates with the annotated image.
We love this feature for anything from identifying a key part of a data visualization to mapping out your garden. Give it a shot.”
