Eton has this week unveiled a new addition to their range with the launch of the Eton Rukus Bluetooth portable solar powered sound system. That allows you to stream music from any Bluetooth-enabled device, and is fitted with and E Ink display and two full-range speaker drivers, delivering booming lows and crystal-clear highs, say Eton.
Its also equipped with a handy 40 inch square solar panel, which can recharge the internal lithium battery from flat to full in around six hours. If no sunlight is available the Rukus can also be powered and charged using the provided AC adapter.
The integrated USB within the Rukus sound system also enables you to keep your smartphone or any other device topped up, and full charged on the go. Esmail Hozour, CEO of Etón Corporation explains:
“Rukus is truly the only Bluetooth sound system you may never have to plug in,”-“With its unique design and portability, the sound system is the perfect addition to any indoor or outdoor area – causing a ruckus wherever it goes.”
The included E Ink display is also readable in direct sunlight, saves valuable battery power and is virtually indestructible says Eton. The new Eton Rukus will be arriving in the second quarter of 2012 and will be priced around $150.
