Essential has released a new software update for their camera app on their Essential Phone. The update brings Portrait Mode to the smartphone. The company revealed recently that they were working on improvements to the camera on the device.
The update is available to download from the Google Play Store and it also comes with some other improvements. As well as the new Portrait Mode there is also reduced compression and improved image quality.
