KIQ is a new electric scooter launched via Indiegogo this week and created by a team of engineers and designers based in the Netherlands. KIQ has been under its final development for the last 12 months and is now available to back with earlybird presale deposits available from £161, with a suggested retail price of €549 which is based on a 21% value-added tax rate.
The KIQ’s most recognizable feature is the LED U-light and the base of the electric scooter is covered with anti-slip rubber and the KIQ’s two 8 inch solid rubber tires are impossible to puncture providing smooth strong motion. The electric scooter is also equipped with a removable battery designed and manufactured by LG, allowing you to charge it wherever you may be without the need for the whole scooter.
“The KIQ is the ideal companion for short-distance traveling. The 3D forging and low pressure casting process make for strong metal rigidity. The KIQ’s frame is extremely durable, which is a key factor for stability, comfort and safety. We want to share this amazing product with the world, but we’re going to need the Indiegogo community to make it happen. Due to the high costs that come with utilizing and shipping lithium-ion batteries, bringing the kick scooter to the market is an expensive task. “
“If we can get at least 260 community members to back our campaign, we will be able to offer the KIQ scooter to you for just €479, which means the KIQ will cost you significantly less than the retail price of €549! Let’s bundle our powers and get this thing done! *Price based on 21% VAT”
