Dropbox has announced the availability of its new Dropbox Transfer service after testing the feature to a limited group of users. All dropbox users can now share files up to 100 GB in size depending on their plan. Even if you have a free dropbox storage plan you can still share files up to 100 MB in size, with a plus package up to 2 GB in size and a professional package allows you 100 GB in size.
“Transfer is designed for times when you need to turn over large collections of final files to clients and other people outside your company. We’re excited to help everyone easily deliver files, so today we’re rolling Transfer out to all Dropbox users, along with new features.”
Features of the Dropbox Transfer services which is now available to Dropbox users :
– Send up to 100 GB of files in each transfer
– Let anyone access files, even without an account
– Add via drag and drop or from Dropbox
– Deliver by copying a link or sending an email
– Send copies to prevent unwanted edits
– Control access with password protection
– Set link expiry to encourage downloads
– Confirm delivery with download notifications
Dropbox Transfer sizes depend on your Dropbox plan :
– Basic (free): 100MB
– Plus: 2GB
– Professional: 100GB
– Business Standard: 2GB
– Business Advanced, Enterprise, or Education: 100GB
