Dell has come up with a follow up of it’s Streak tablet, this time it’s a phone called the Dell Streak Pro GS01.
This device, which is set to be launched in Japan on March 8th, will be available exclusively from the carrier eMobile. This appears to be a good partnership, as through this carrier, the Streak Pro GS01 could reach speed up to 75 Mbps.
The phone runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread, with no updates on a possible Ice Cream Sandwich future upgrade. It is also equipped with dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU with a clock speed of 1.5 GHz. It comes with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of built-in memory.
The screen is a 4.3-inch qHD capacitive touchscreen with a pixel display resolution of 960 x 540. Among its other features are an 8 MP rear shooter with LED flash as well as a 1.3 MP front-facing camera. The Dell Streak Pro GS01 is designed with a slim, all-black case, with measurements of 10.3 mm or 0.4 inch thick and a weight of 145 grams or 5.11 ounces.
As for connectivity, this device carries support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and also HSDPA. This smartphone would cost around 54,800 Yen or around 680 USD. There is no word as to a possible international release.
