We were expecting Windows Phone in the UK to get Microsoft’s Cortana last month, the update never arrived, after a number of hints from Microsoft, and the updated was then expected to be released in July.
Microsoft has now confirmed on Twitter, that their voice activated virtual assistant, Cortana, will not be headed to Windows Phone devices in the UK this month either.

Microsoft’s Cortana is currently available in the U.S. version of Windows Phone 8.1, the company previously said that it would land in the UK and China this year.
There are no details as yet on exactly when Cortana will land on Windows Phone devices in the UK, as soon as we get some more details on when the software will be available, we will let you guys know.
The company is also rumored to be working on expanding their voice assistant to other devices, as well as Windows Phone device, this will apparently include Windows Tablets, Windows PCs and their Xbox One gaming console, although there are no details on when these devices may get the software.
