We find using “heavy duty” to describe Coolermaster’s HAF 912 quite fitting. A mere glance at its solid exterior suggests chunks of body armor were plastered on this monster to catch the eye of susceptible gamers looking for a good build. Coolermaster’s isn’t modest in hyping it either. In their own words:
“No matter if you are looking for an affordable, no compromise gaming chassis or for a case with all the bells and whistles and great support for water cooling accessories: the HAF 912 is the ultimate model for you.”
Since every CPU case worth its salt strives for a balance between features, cost, cooling and space HAF 912 was built for the best bang for your buck on all fronts. Among these criteria however, space is what Coolermaster’s latest has in abundant supply.
Able to accommodate four 5.25-inch drives or six 3.5-inch internal drives plus a couple of 2.5-inch drives. No less than four mounts from 120mm and 140mm fans are available front, back and side with space for extras.
If you’re still not sold, here’s the last pitch from the official press release:
“The HAF 912 Plus was designed to meet the requirements of those that want something out of the ordinary, yet it was built to be affordable, explains Coolermaster.”
The official UK release date for HAF912 is mid-September and in case you’re itching to buy one, know that it will set you back 65 quid.
