Since small cars are the way of the future, some Chinese dude came up with this unsettling design. Dubbed the MBOLIC, this compact ride packs quite a surprise for the mobile citizen as it’s capable of disengaging a couple of e-bikes Segway style.
This means the MBOLIC is a couple of Segways stuck to a cab. The whole vehicle is an electric powered marvel and as far as car designs go, this is as ugly as the rest of them. It’s like an ice cube on wheels.
Where’s the passion? Where’s the eccentricity?
It’s not all bad, however, since the MBOLIC is part of a deconstructed wave in design wherein our everyday vehicles will soon have multiple features.
In the coming years, a the proliferation of compact cars (or perhaps the end of the automobile as we know it) would prove quite the phenomenon to observe. Masses of compact cars plying our major thoroughfares and highways begs the question: What will cities look like a decade from now?
