Photographers or anyone else looking to keep microSD cards safe and secure during transit, may be interested in a new compact keychain SD card case constructed from titanium. Created by photographer John Kasko the SD card carrier is this week launched via Kickstarter and is now available to back with earlybird pledges available from $34. If all goes well worldwide shipping is expected to take place during October 2018.
The SD card cases are all hand milled and a limited number will be available at certain delivery times. Watch the demonstration video below to learn more about the rugged SD card case. It’s creator John explains more about the inspiration behind the titanium case. “The real reason for this remarkable little gem… On more then one occasion I left the studio without a memory card in my camera! Seriously! I tried tucking one away in my wallet but that ended badly. I set out to create a case I would never leave home without, always provide a backup memory card and would protect my card from damage. After more then a year of designing and prototypes, the SD Card Safe was created.“
