A Chinese company called Hanvon has just launched a new tablet called the TouchPad B10, which is the companies new tablet. The tablet is nothing special but obviously Hanvon found a get way of getting everyones attention for the launch of the tablet by smashing a giant Apple ice sculpture at the start of the presentation.
I wonder if this got Steve Jobs’ attention? Anyway the Hanvon TouchPad B10 tablet features a 10.1 inch touchscreen LCD display and an Intel CULV processor and will run Windows 7.
Graphics are provided by an Intel GMA 4500 chip, either a 250GB or 320GB 2.5 inch hard drive, integrated WiFi, a three megapixel camera, an SD card slot, two USB ports and HDMI out.
There are no details on pricing or availability, although their publicity stunt should have got them noticed so some people may be interested in this tablet when it goes on sale.
