Cherry has unveiled a new wireless mouse it has created in the form of the Cherry MW8 Advanced, offering a Bluetooth or 2.4 GHz wireless connection using the supplied USB receiver creating a wireless connection secured with AES encryption. Switching between the two connection modes is done by sliding the switch at the bottom of the mouse into the desired position.
The wireless mouse is fitted with a integrated Lithium 550 mAh battery combined with a high-quality optical sensor. The sensor resolution can be adjusted in four steps : 600, 1000, 1600, and 3200 DPI and is suitable for use with 4K Ultra HD monitors. “From a technical point of view, MW 8 ADVANCED joins the CHERRY mouse range as a top model, as the high-precision PixArt “track-on-glass” sensor with optical scanning works on all surfaces, including glass. This allows the mouse to be used without a mouse pad. “
“A two-color status LED provides information about the battery charge as well as the selected resolution and the connection to the PC. The wireless mouse is charged via the included USB cable, and remains usable during charging to enable high productivity without interruptions.”
The Cherry MW8 Advanced wireless mouse will be available to purchase worldwide towards the end of September 2018 priced at $60, £44 or €50 depending on your location.
