If you have ever wanted to securely fix your smart phone to a tripod you will already know how awkward this can be. Well a new handy device has been developed and is now looking to make the jump from concept to manufacture over on the Kickstarter website.
The device is called Capta and it has been designed to enable you to easily and securely fixed any smartphone with a flat back to a camera tripod using a custom designed fitting and special suction pad. The suction pad is reusable and holds your smartphone securely in place when needed but allows you to easily remove your smartphone once you have finished. Capta works with any smart phone that has enough of a flat surface that the pad can adhere to (leaves no residue) for example iPhone, Android, BlackBerry and the list is endless. Its designers explain:
“Capta has exceeded our original design functions and is capable of doing so much more from the intended to the very unintended. When paired with a suction cup or tripod mount the possibilities and uses increased exponentially. We are humbled by how versatile Capta truly is and we know there is so much more to be discovered.”
