An unannounced Canon DSLR has turned up on the Best Buy website for pre-order. The camera is called the EOS-b and has 18-megapixel resolution. According to the listing, the camera will sell for $799.99 including a EF-S 18-55 mm zoom lens. At the time of writing, the listing had been pulled from the Best Buy website.
However, it was up long enough for all the specifications of the camera to be unveiled. The camera has a three-inch TFT LCD touchscreen display on the back with a resolution of 1,040,000 pixels. It also has Movie Servo AF to continuously focus the lens during high-definition movie recording.
The camera is capable shooting bursts of up to four frames per second and has an ISO range of 100-12,800 that is expandable to 25,600. The camera uses a nine-point autofocus system and has an optical viewfinder. Other features include a pop-up flash, optical image stabilization, various scene modes, white balance controls, and more.
