There are hoards of iPad docks on the market today. Many of them are nothing but more of the same. If you want an iPad integrated into the wall of your home that looks cool and makes the iPad look built-in, Bracketron has the new iRoom iDock just for you.
This thing is made to require professional installation and fits into the wall flush. It has power and connections to hook the iPad to the TV in your room. There are versions of the iRoom iDock that will support landscape or Portrait modes.
The dock has a proximity sensor and a motor and when you walk up to it, the dock opens for placing the iPad. Within ten seconds of opening, it will close again. You can also turn the sensor off to keep the iPad shut in the dock. It can be fitted with kits to support the iPad or the iPad 2. Pricing is unknown.
