Some of our readers will remember the Boxee Box, well the good news is that the Boxee Box is now available to pre-order for $199, and it looks like it will ship in the US, Canada, Europe and Australia some time in November.
It looks like the Boxee Box has had some hardware changes, we had previously be told that it would ship with NVIDIA’s Tegra 2 processor, but it looks like this has now been changed to an Intel Atom processor.
The Boxee Box will come with an Intel Atom CE4100 processor, which is a system on a chip designed for HD video playback. It seems the change was made as the NVIDIA Tegra 2 chip wasn’t good enough for Full HD playback.
