Bovarro Watches has unveiled a new addition to their range with the unveiling of the Bovarro Moon 1969 Watch which is hand assembled in Switzerland and offers’s a Swiss made automatic watch which is available in a number of different finishes including one with a solid gold 18k case.
Inspired by the legacy of the Apollo 11 landing which took place in 1969, the unique watch has been designed to resemble the hatch of the Apollo 11 spacecraft.
Watch the video below to learn more about this watch’s design, as its creators explain a little more about its construction.
Initially we created the bezel to look exactly like the hatch with the 42 screws, but the look on the watch did not quite come out as nice, so we decided to reduce the screws around the bezel down to 8 , and shape the crown like the knob on the right side of the hatch, and the look of the watch came out exactly the way we planned.
The Limited Edition Gold Series Watches will come with Solid 18 K Gold Case (42 or 44 mm), Gold Back Case, Gold Crown and Gold Strap Buckle. And a Piano finish luxury box to store this prestigious History
Limited Edition Models (#0,00,1-500) will be available combined in all the models. You will choose your watch after the campaign and we will engrave the number on the case. None Limited Edition Watches will come with hard back case with the Moon Engravings.
