
Ahead of IFA 2018 this week audio manufacturer Bose has unveiled a new Bose smart speaker and sound bars all equipped with Alexa voice support. Bose has also announced it will be adding AirPlay 2 functionality to the new smart speaker range in early 2019. The Bose Home Speaker 500 is priced at $400 and offers stereo sound and a Bluetooth connection.
Inside the Bose Home Speaker 500 are two custom drivers pointing in opposite directions to bounce sound off the walls. Producing a “soundstage wider than any other smart speaker, powerful enough to fill any room with an astonishing stereo performance.”
