RedBear has this week unveiled a new Bluetooth 5 ready BLE module, Nano 2 and Blend 2 which make up the RedBear BLE nRF52 Series and are now available to back via the Kickstarter crowdfunding website.
The development team has already raised over $16,000, thanks to nearly 300 backers with still 29 days remaining on their campaign. Pledges start from just $23 for the earlybird package, with shipping expected to take place during February 2017.
The developers from RedBear explain a little more about what you can expect from their Bluetooth Low Energy products ninth video below, which are sure to be perfect for your next BLE project.
At the heart of all the new products is our new BLE Module model# MB-N2. It houses the Nordic nRF52832, an on-board antenna and other components special tuning for great performance and low power consumption.
The module provides all GPIO pins and supports all advance features offer by Nordic nRF52832. With your support, we will get our module certified for CE, FCC and Bluetooth. If you use this module for your own products, not only you have the assurance, you will also save some cost on your own product certifications.
