Blizzard Entertainment has announced this week that its currently in the process of investigating major lag issues affecting some players within the Diablo 3 game. After problems were reported by Diablo 3 users over on the official community forum last weekend.
Using the Looking Glass Utility Blizzard has now requested that affected Diablo 3 players help track down the issues they are experiencing by supplying details of ping tests from their location.
Blizzard support agent “Omrakos” explains over on the official Diablo 3 forums :
“We’ve been asked to collect some information for our network engineers on this issue,”-“We’d like to have your trace route info when you trace to 126.96.36.199. We’d also like to see the results when you run our Looking Glass utility to see the return path of the trace from Blizzard to you. Be sure to select Diablo III in the utility. And lastly, please identify your ISP and geographical location in your reply post with the above info.”
