We recently heard a rumor about a new version of the BlackBerry Key2 which was rumored to launch as the Key2 Lite. The handset will actually be called the BlackBerry Key2 LE when it launches.
The new BlackBerry Key2 LE recently appeared at the FCC with the model Number BBE100-5 and the listing also showed the name for the handset as the BlackBerry Key2 LE, this can be seen in the picture below.
The new Key2 LE is rumored to be a cheaper version of the Key2, this new handset will apparently come with 4GB of RAM as opposed to 6GB of RAM on the Key2.
The original BlackBerry Key2 smartphones comes with a 4.5 inch display with a 1620 x 1080 resolution and a 3:2 aspect ratio. The handset is powered by a Snapdragon 660 processor and it has 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, there is also a microSD card slot for expansion.
The device features an 8 megapixel front camera for selfies and dual rear cameras, each of the rear cameras comes with a 12 megapixel sensor. As soon as we get some more details on the specifications on the new Key2 LE from BlackBerry, we will let you guys know.
