Last month, the new Blackberry Classic went up for pre-orders on Blackberry’s website for $449.99. The device brings back the classic Blackberry look, with a QWERTY keyboard and the latest Blackberry OS.
If you’re thinking about getting your hands on the Blackberry Classic, there’s some bad news for you. The device is out of stock at the online Blackberry store, and there’s no word of when the stock will be replenished.
The handset is expected to come with a 3.46-inch display sporting a resolution of 720 by 720 pixels, and should come with a dual-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, coupled with a microSD card support of up to 128GB.
Blackberry Classic is also expected to feature an 8MP camera for photos and videos as well as a 2MP front-facing camera, a 2,500 mAh battery to make sure there’s enough juice for the handset, and will come with Blackberry OS 10.3.1.
The online Blackberry shop lists the shipment date to be mid-December, but there’s no exact word about the availability date or when the shipments will commence. We’ll update you as soon as the handset starts shipping, and when it will come back in stock.
