Earlier today, AT&T started the Android 4.4 KitKat roll out process for the HTC One, but it seems that’s not the only handset which will get the chocolaty taste of Android 4.4.
AT&T has announced it’s also rolling out the Android 4.4 KitKat update for the LG G2. Yes, you’re reading it right, LG G2 tied to AT&T is getting the latest Android operating system.
The latest update brings Android 4.4 KitKat goodies, including a restyled status and navigation bars, a new full-screen mode, improved closed captioning support, and stronger security. Additionally, the Android 4.4 KitKat update also comes with improved speed, Google Cloud Print, improved Knock On feature and much more.
Make sure you have at least half of your battery before you upgrade your device. Additionally, fret not if you can’t see the update notification, but you can also manually check for the update by navigating to Settings>General>About phone>Software Update>Update Now.
Now that it’s rolling out for the AT&T variant, it shouldn’t be long before other regions can get the taste of Android 4.4 on their LG G2. LG UK already announced the LG G2 will get the latest update next month, and that’s the time frame other users should watch out for as well.
