As expected, AT&T has started rolling out the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy Note 3.
The update is rolling out over-the-air as we speak so if you’re in possession of any of the above-mentioned devices, it is a good time to hit the software update button.
The update brings a number of new features for the handsets, including all the goodness introduced with the Android 5.0 Lollipop update such as the new Material design, performance and stability improvements, improved battery, improved lock screen notifications, and a lot more. Furthermore, there’s a priority notification system as well which allows certain notifications to pass through,
As for the Galaxy Note 4, there are some new services additions, including the Find My Mobile and Reactivation lock as an added security feature.
The update may take some time to reach your device so if you don’t see it today, don’t panic as the process is gradual and takes a couple of days to complete. However, if you’re impatient and cannot wait for the update to arrive, you can manually check for the update by going to Settings > General tab > About device > Software updates > Check for updates.
